2020 Canadian Screen Awards announces four nominations for James Vs His Future Self including Best Original Screenplay

James Vs His Future Self has picked up a total of four nominations for the 2020 Canadian Screen Awards, including Best Original Screenplay (Jonas Chernick & Jeremy LaLonde), Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role (Daniel Stern as "Jimmy"), Best Original Score (Ian LeFeuvre & Stephen Krecklo) and Best Original Song ("Travel Through" by Ian LeFeuvre). In addition to co-writing the film with director LaLonde, Chernick also produced along with Jordan Walker and Jonathan Bronfman, and plays the lead role. The sci-fi comedy, which has its European premiere on March 4 at the Glasgow Film Festival, will open in cinemas across Canada on April 3, 2020, just days after the Canadian Screen Awards live telecast on March 29. It is scheduled to premiere on Sky TV in the UK on April 8, and will open in theatres across the US on May 1. The nomination marks the second such accolade for Stern's work in the film, after winning the jury award for Best Supporting Actor at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival late last year.
