Indie feature film Cinema of Sleep starts production in Winnipeg

Principal photography has commenced in Winnipeg, Canada on the indie feature film Cinema of Sleep, written and directed by Jeffrey St. Jules. In the film, Jonas Chernick plays Frank, a mysterious travelling salesman living in a seedy road-side motel. The dramatic thriller is the second feature film from St. Jules, whose first feature, Bang Bang Baby won the award for Best First Canadian Feature Film at the Toronto International Film Festival, the Panavision Spirit Award at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, and the Claude Jutra Award at the 2015 Canadian Screen Awards. Cinema of Sleep will be released in 2020.
